Alexandre Muller defeated Kei Nishikori 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the final of the ATP 250 in Hong Kong.
After losing the first set 6-2, the Frenchman was able to get the better of Nishikori, who seemed to be in a physical state, particularly in the final set.
He wins the tournament having conceded the first set in all five of his matches. This is the first time in ATP history that such a performance has been achieved.
Alexander Bublik had previously won the Montpellier tournament having conceded the first set, but over four matches, as he benefited from a bye in the first round.
