Schwartzman before bidding farewell to tennis: The aim is to put on a show.

Diego Schwartzman will play his 1st round match this Tuesday against Camilo Ugo Carabelli at the Rosario Challenger, where he has been invited by the organizers, before ending his career next week in Buenos Aires.

El Peque', ranked 8th in the world in 2020, spoke at a press conference about his state of mind ahead of the final matches of his professional career:

"The atmosphere at this tournament is very pleasant. I'll try to do my best for the people and for myself.

The aim is not to win or lose matches, but to put on a show in the last two tournaments of my career.

In two weeks' time, I'll be retiring. I want to enjoy my time on the court."
