Ruud at a press conference with Rune: "It would be better if you didn't answer this question".
Once on bad terms because of their quarter-final clash at Roland Garros in 2022, Casper Ruud and Holger Rune seem to have made up.
The two players organize an exhibition together, the Nordic Battle. The first match took place in Oslo and was won by Casper Ruud. The second round will take place this Tuesday in Copenhagen.
While the two players were together at the press conference, Rune was asked about his country's tax situation.
Ruud said: "It would be better if you didn't answer that question. I don't think you have to."
The Norwegian had bemoaned the rise in taxes in his country: "I have to admit that I've also thought about moving. There have been some very drastic tax increases introduced in recent years.
It's a real shame to pay so much tax. I don't think the Norwegian government is moving in the right direction at all.
They're shooting themselves in the foot and causing a lot of capital and a lot of people to flee the country."
