With less than two weeks to go before the start of the Australian Open, the order of the top eight men's seeds underwent a slight change on Thursday.
Andrey Rublev, who was beaten on his debut in Hong Kong, has lost the points for his 2024 title and, more importantly, his status as No.8 seed for the first Grand Slam of the season.
Alex De Minaur, ranked 9th in the world, took advantage of the situation to take his place.
The order of the other seeds remains unchanged: Sinner (1), Zverev (2), Alcaraz (3), Fritz (4), Medvedev (5), Ruud (6), Djokovic (7) and De Minaur (8).
