Alcaraz sets his sights on 2025: "Winning the Australian Open is my main objective for next year".
After two Grand Slam titles this year, Carlos Alcaraz has now won a Major title on every surface.
However, he still has just one major tournament to his name, and that is the Australian Open, the 2025 edition of which kicks off in mid-January.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, the 21-year-old Spaniard revealed his main objective for the coming season: "It's been a year with ups and downs, but I only want to remember the positive.
It's true that I'm still moved when I watch the videos again at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Tennis is an individual sport, but there's a whole team behind me, cheering me on every day. I hope 2025 will be even better than 2024.
I'm a very ambitious boy and I always want more. Winning the Australian Open is my main goal for next year. I also want people to have fun with me.
I'm starting a tough month of training, but being home for Christmas and New Year's Eve is wonderful and gives me a break," he elaborated.
