Eurosport consultant Tim Henman recently revealed what he might have advised Andy Murray about retirement, before the latter took up his new role as Novak Djokovic's coach.
Returning to the circuit as a coach less than six months after his retirement as a player, the former two-time Wimbledon winner didn't hang around and clearly didn't follow Henman's advice, as the former British champion explained:
"My advice to Andy, when I was asked about it, was: 'Take your time'. So he didn't listen.
I played golf last year and he seemed very happy. He loves golf and being at home with his wife and kids.
And I didn't see it coming (Djokovic's announcement), and I don't think he did either. It was unexpected."
