Boulter on De Minaur: "We help each other in many ways".
Katie Boulter (28) has enjoyed her best WTA season to date.
With two titles bringing her total to three since the start of her career, the Briton has gained in confidence this season, notably avoiding the injuries that had stunted her progress.
Boulter is currently in a relationship with Alex De Minaur, ranked 6th in the ATP rankings in July, and spoke to Sky Sports about their professional relationship.
"I feel we help each other in a lot of ways. Firstly, he always gives good advice.
He has a lot of credibility, so I welcome anything he says. He's been on the circuit for so long, even though he's still young.
Alex has a lot of experience and has been through a lot in his career. He's been through what I'm going through right now.
I've been on the circuit a bit longer, so I have a slightly different way of looking at things, which may help him. For his part, he also encourages me.
It's helped me push my limits even further, and he's given me the belief that I can live up to his current level."
