De Minaur on Kyrgios' comeback: "I'm sure he'll attract attention in Brisbane".
Nick Kyrgios is set to make his return to the ATP Tour. The whimsical Australian player, now unranked, will take part in the ATP Brisbane tournament before playing in the Australian Open for the first time since 2022.
The former world No. 13 reached the Wimbledon final in 2022 before a series of injuries prevented him from returning to the Tour.
He has played just one official match since the start of the 2023 season.
In an interview with Eurosport, Alex De Minaur spoke of Kyrgios' return to the top level: "I think everyone is looking forward to seeing him make his comeback.
He's obviously an incredible talent and has achieved great things in the sport, so I'm sure people will be excited to see him back on a court and competing again.
He's finishing his rehab, he's doing his best. I've seen that he'll be debuting in Brisbane, so I'm sure he'll attract a lot of attention there," said De Minaur.
