Jack Sock, former world No. 8, now plays pickleball, a sport derived from tennis that is very much in vogue in the USA.
However, the American hasn't completely given up on the idea of playing professional tennis again.
On the Nothing Major podcast, which he hosts alongside other former American players (Isner, Querrey, Johnson), Sock spoke of a possible return in 2025, asking James Blake, director of the Miami Masters 1000, for an invitation to play doubles with his friend Nick Kyrgios.
And his response was positive: "I can always give you the diplomatic answer: it will be considered.
I think you two guys have a good chance of winning.
You're going to sell tickets. It's not like the Isner / Hurkacz pair (laughs)."
