Andy Murray is to become Novak Djokovic's coach until at least the Australian Open. Having retired from the courts this summer, this will be the Scot's first experience as a coach.

In his podcast, Andy Roddick, always on the lookout for the latest tennis news, believes that the former world number 1's game intelligence and tactical science can be of great use to the 37-year-old Serb in his quest for a 25th Grand Slam.

"Murray has spent the last five years of his career finding solutions to make up for what he's lost in mobility.

Andy's difficulties mean something to Novak at his age. To say that the 38-year-old Djokovic isn't as strong as the Djokovic who was 32 shouldn't be controversial.

I've said it many times here, but Murray has, in my opinion, the highest tennis IQ I've ever seen.

He competed with these three superheroes (Djokovic, Federer and Nadal) without having the best shot on court and not being the fastest player. That didn't stop him from moving very well."
