Davidovich Fokina recalls the interruption of his match by French fans: It was impossible to play.

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina scored one of Wednesday's outstanding victories at the Australian Open, beating Felix Auger-Aliassime after overcoming a two-set deficit (6-7, 6-7, 6-4, 6-1, 6-3).

The two men, who played for 4 hours 40 minutes, finished the match at 1:15 a.m. in Melbourne.

However, the match was interrupted for a while in order to change courts, as both players were visibly bothered by the slightly too noisy atmosphere on court 6, where Arthur Cazaux and Jacob Fearnley were playing.

The Spaniard recalled this curious sequence after his victory: "A Frenchman was playing on the next court, and we had the stands just to our left.

You know what the French public is like, they make a lot of noise and it was impossible to play.

At each of their points, they applauded loudly and during the exchanges, they started shouting. We decided to change courts because it was impossible to play concentrated."
