Arthur Bouquier could do nothing against Roberto Carballes Baena, soundly beaten 6-2, 6-2. Titouan Droguet did not have an easy draw against Nicolas Jarry, but came through with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
A Negative French Balance
Luka Pavlovic faced Colton Smith and fell 7-6, 6-1. Dan Added, up against Giulio Zeppieri, lost 6-3, 6-3. Pierre-Hugues Herbert navigated the trap set by Guy Den Ouden. After losing the first set, the Frenchman regrouped and won 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Despite winning the first set, Clément Tabur fell to Daniil Glinka 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. As for Luca van Assche, he dispatched Moez Echargui with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
