Alcaraz adds a new coach to his staff for 2025!

Carlos Alcaraz will no longer be accompanied solely by Juan Carlos Ferrero for the 2025 season. This year's winner of the French Open and Wimbledon has decided to strengthen his team by hiring an assistant coach.
This is Samuel Lopez, who this week ended his long-standing collaboration (9 years) with Pablo Carreno Busta.
The 54-year-old had already been on Alcaraz's staff for a number of tournaments: Miami 2022, Queen's 2023 and this year's Australian Open.
According to Marca, Lopez will take over at the Rotterdam tournament (February 3-9, 2025), where Alcaraz will play for the first time in his career.
