Carreno Busta looks back at the Sinner case: We're still talking about a positive test by the world number 1!

The case of Jannik Sinner's doping test continues to be the talk of the town.

Back in action in recent weeks and selected by David Ferrer to take part in the Davis Cup, Pablo Carreno Busta was asked about the matter.

Without damning Sinner, he admitted to being shocked: "We talked a lot about it when it came out, it was a shock. After all, we're talking about a positive test by the world number 1!

Of course we talked about it, but we didn't have enough information, like you might talk about it in a bar with a friend.

Now that new information is coming to light, we understand the situation better.

The most controversial thing is that he was able to compete while it was being decided whether he was guilty or not, while other players were not allowed to do so.

As I don't know exactly how the other cases went, I can't tell you whether there was preferential treatment or not."
