Draper on cyberstalking: "Win or lose, you get hundreds of messages"
Jack Draper enjoyed the best season of his career on tour, reaching the semi-finals of the US Open and winning his first ATP 500 in Vienna.
The Briton, who is taking a well-deserved break, spoke to The Guardian in a lengthy interview.
The world No. 15 spoke in particular about the cyberbullying that professional players are subjected to every day: "In my first pro match in 2018, I won 6-0 6-0 and I was behaving horribly. They were going to try and find my mother.
It's every match, whether you win or lose. You get hundreds of messages and you can't stop it.
If I lose a match, I'll go to my Instagram account and see about 100 messages with clown and snake emojis and stuff like that. You can't control it.
Everyone falls victim to it, especially female players. They suffer from it far more than men."
