Some defeats are harder to digest than others. Beaten in the US Open final by an excellent Jannik Sinner (6-3, 6-4, 7-5), Taylor Fritz saw his dream of a home title dashed.
Speaking on the podcast hosted by his compatriots John Isner and Sam Querrey, as well as Australian Jordan Thompson, the current world No. 6 confessed to having great difficulty accepting this defeat: "To be honest, it's worse than I imagined.
I'm sitting at my desk, playing video games 12 hours a day and I'm really not eating healthily at all."
