Since the French Open, Varvara Gracheva has been at the heart of the French public's attention. A magnificent eighth-finalist in Paris, beating Sakkari in the first round (3-6, 6-4, 6-3), the Frenchwoman kept up her good form on Monday.
Facing Lesia Tsurenko (59th), Gracheva mastered her game perfectly, winning in barely an hour (6-3, 6-1).
