Kyrgios disappointed by Sinner's short suspension: "A sad day for tennis".

Kyrgios disappointed by Sinner's short suspension: A sad day for tennis.

For several months, Nick Kyrgios had been making repeated comments and attacking Jannik Sinner over his doping scandal.

Unsurprisingly, he was the first to react to the announcement of the Italian's three-month suspension, following an agreement reached with the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The 29-year-old expressed his disappointment at the lightness of the suspension:

"WADA speaks out and says it could be a suspension of between one and two years.

Obviously, the Sinner team did everything in its power to go ahead and take a three-month suspension without losing a title and without losing prize money.

Guilty or not? A sad day for tennis. Fairness in tennis doesn't exist."

The likes of Halep and Erani must be fuming. Both got lengthy bans through doping unknowingly

Ban should have been longer for Sinner. It’s not the first time, not even the second time so can’t really say he didn’t realise what was in the stuff he was taking. I wouldn’t be able to say I had won if I had cheated and it is cheating when you take illegal substances 🤷‍♀️

If fairness existed Kyrgios would have been given a major penalty when he left the court to break 2 rackets out of the umpires sight.
