Kyrgios reacts to Purcell's suspension: "Our sport is in trouble".

Nick Kyrgios is no stranger to reacting to doping scandals in tennis.

After Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek this year, it's Max Purcell's turn to have broken the rules of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Provisionally suspended after admitting his error, Purcell is still unsure of his fate.

Unsurprisingly, compatriot Nick Kyrgios reacted to the unexpected news on his X account: "Our sport is in a mess right now."

And the Australian then shared a post from another user, with an obviously controversial opinion: "Where was this type of announcement when dopers like Iga and Sinner were suspended?"
