After Roger Federer recently hinted at the possibility of becoming Team Europe captain, his agent Tony Godsick strongly embraced the idea.

The Swiss star recently raised the possibility of taking a seat on the European team's bench in a few years, as it is the only role that would allow him to combine family life with professional commitments.
"One day, he will be captain"
His longtime agent and co-founder of the exhibition event, Tony Godsick, was a little more candid on the subject during a press conference held yesterday:
"Roger can tell us he's ready to become captain, but the next day he explains that he can't commit for ten years. He has four children and a huge amount to manage.
What I can tell you is that one day, he will be captain, that's for sure. Well, I hope so. Nothing is ever certain. But I know that behind the scenes, with Steve (Zacks, the exhibition's CEO) and me, he already behaves and acts like a captain.
He doesn't get involved in what the captains strictly do, but he loves this competition."
