It's well known that Jelena Ostapenko is capable of stunning feats at any time of the season.

The Latvian crushed Jasmine Paolini in the Round of 16 at the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha. In just 1h05 of play, Ostapenko won 6-2, 6-2.

With 31 winners in 16 games played and 76% of points won behind her first serve, she was in fine form.

She had played in the Doha final in 2016, aged 19. She declared: "I feel like this is where it all began for me".

Ostapenko will face either Ons Jabeur or Sofia Kenin in the quarter-finals.

Thanks for the good words of support. And to d smith (cherrycoke) I am moved by your words and wish you had been around to experience what I'm referring to. As it is there are revolving groups of players each week. The ones in question might be moved out to another group 1 week in four. That means for 3 weeks of every 4 there is unfair play. If you are buying boosts the odds are greatly in your f...

There are a group of players who feel the need to win and spend a bunch of money to add boosts to their predictions. That is ok if they have it to spend. Many of us do not.

I feel these should have their own group(s). An extra 4-6-8 points makes a difference in a week. I don't want to play in unfair rules.

To me it's just a game. A good one at that. And the developer deserves to get paid. But se...
