Sinner: "It's just an act".
Jannik Sinner will be making his return to competition this week.
Absent from the Olympic Games, the Italian is determined to move forward without delay. And that starts with defending the title he won last year in Canada.
Number 1 in the world since the French Open, the Transalpine will have to assume his new status.
Yet he doesn't seem particularly anxious about it: "It's just a different number, it doesn't change much.
My team and I try to make the process, our daily routine, as good as possible, and just try to be ready for whatever challenges come our way.
I'm very happy to be back here. I've been very consistent throughout the year and that's what we're going to try to do in the coming months too."
