World No. 1 Jannik Sinner Heads Straight to Caja Magica Courts Upon Arrival for Masters 1000 Prep
Jannik Sinner, who arrived in Madrid late in the afternoon, has already completed his first practice session at the Caja Magica, the famous center court of the tournament.
The world No. 1 rallied with clay-court specialist Thiago Tirante, world No. 73.
"High-Level Practice"
It was actually the Argentine who revealed the session, posting on his Instagram account a photo with Sinner and his team.
"Super start in Madrid with a high-level practice. Thanks to Jannik and his team for everything," Tirante wrote to caption the picture.
After several days of uncertainty, Sinner will indeed compete in the Madrid Masters 1000. He will have to wait until tomorrow to learn his first opponent's name in the tournament.
