Novak Djokovic has nothing left to prove, and yet, he still has one final objective: the 25th Grand Slam.

A title that would definitively place him alone at the summit of tennis history.

But as the 2026 season is just beginning, in what state of mind will he truly arrive in Australia?

Tsonga analyzes Djokovic

Former finalist of the 2008 Australian Open, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga knows Novak Djokovic better than most.

And in an interview with the Blick newspaper, he analyzed the Serb's return:

"When you hear him talk today about Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, placing them at another level, it seems like Novak Djokovic has already given up.

But I think he is still ready. He continues to play excellent tennis. And if there is a centimeter of opening, he strikes. You can feel that with every entry onto the court, he pushes his limits even further."

The conclusion is clear: Djokovic may no longer be untouchable, but he remains a great competitor who will not hesitate to seize his chance if it presents itself.
