United Cup captains announced!

For the third year running, the United Cup, a mixed competition organized jointly by the ATP and the WTA, will be played in Perth and Sydney.

With just two weeks to go, the list of captains representing the 18 participating countries has been unveiled.

For Australia, it will unsurprisingly be Lleyton Hewitt, current captain of the Davis Cup team.

France will be coached by Fabrice Martin, doubles specialist and finalist at Roland-Garros in 2019.

Germany will rely on Alexander Zverev Sr, while Canada has opted for originality by choosing Félix Auger-Aliassime.

Other notable names include Michael Russell (coach of Taylor Fritz) for the USA, Christian Ruud for Norway and Renzo Furlan (coach of Jasmine Paolini) for Italy.

The rest of the list of captains: Wu Di (China), Rafael Paciaroni (Brazil), Jose Antonio Sanchez de Luna (Spain), Horacio de la Peña (Argentina), Iva Majoli (Croatia), Aleksandr Nedovyesov (Kazakhstan), Sandra Naef (Switzerland), Daniel Vacek (Czech Republic), Alex Ward (Great Britain), Mateusz Terczynski (Poland), Theodoros Angelinos (Greece).
