Van Assche: "I think my ranking should be better".

Van Assche: I think my ranking should be better.

In a portrait video produced by the ATP, Luca Van Assche spoke about his relationship with tennis, but also about his objectives in this Masters Next Gen tournament: "Last year, I played the semi-finals against Arthur Fils.

I still have a lot of room for improvement. For the moment, my tennis performances are good, and I'm satisfied with them.

The players I used to watch on TV, now I play against them. Of course, I want to be better.

I think my ranking should be better than it is now. I need to take a long-term view of my career and do everything I can to reach my maximum capacity.

The most important thing for me is to have no regrets, and to know that I gave it my all."
