Video - Humbert defeats Alcaraz, highlights of the Paris clash

Ugo Humbert pulled off the feat of the day, and perhaps of the tournament, on Thursday, overcoming Carlos Alcaraz to reach the quarter-finals of the Rolex Paris Masters. The Frenchman prevailed after a hard-fought contest lasting over two hours (6-1, 3-6, 7-5).

Humbert first made the difference in the first set, then in the final games of the match, producing some dream tennis (see video highlights below). Ultra-aggressive from the outset, he gave the Spaniard no time to get organized.

And when the Spaniard seemed to find a solution, he held his nerve throughout the first part of the third set, before attacking again to take the lead in the money time. Sensational!
