Alexander Zverev continues his perfect record in Paris.

Reigning Olympic champion, the German passed his first test of the week with flying colors.

Faced with Czech nugget Tomas Machac, the world number 4 managed the important points perfectly, winning in two sets and just 1h34 of play (6-3, 7-5).

Although he didn't play his best tennis, he largely secured the essential points, particularly in the second set, when Machac was more pressing.

For a place in the quarter-finals, he will face Alexei Popyrin, who defeated Stan Wawrinka (6-4, 7-5).

Thanks for the good words of support. And to d smith (cherrycoke) I am moved by your words and wish you had been around to experience what I'm referring to. As it is there are revolving groups of players each week. The ones in question might be moved out to another group 1 week in four. That means for 3 weeks of every 4 there is unfair play. If you are buying boosts the odds are greatly in your f...

There are a group of players who feel the need to win and spend a bunch of money to add boosts to their predictions. That is ok if they have it to spend. Many of us do not.

I feel these should have their own group(s). An extra 4-6-8 points makes a difference in a week. I don't want to play in unfair rules.

To me it's just a game. A good one at that. And the developer deserves to get paid. But se...
