Shanghai is surrounded by water. East China Sea to the east, Hangzhou Bay to the south, Yangtze River to the north and a few large lakes to the west especial Taihu. So plenty of sources for the intense humidity of this years tournament. I think maybe they also need to consider the heat index.

I don't think unfairness in sport amounts to "soul"! If you have the technology to have accurate and fair line calls why would you not do that. Part of the premise of sport is fairness and honesty.
