At Wimbledon, Djokovic makes no secret of it:

At Wimbledon, Djokovic makes no secret of it: "I really want to aim for the title"

Novak Djokovic is succeeding in his gamble. Having undergone knee surgery three weeks ago, and although all the specialists thought he would not be able to return in time, the 'Djoker' seems well on the way to competing.

As he is due to make his debut on Tuesday (against Kopriva), the Serb is making no secret of his ambitions: "I don't want to miss out on a Grand Slam as long as I can still play at this level. I'd simply say it's an incredible desire to play, to compete. Especially as it's Wimbledon, the tournament that always made me dream as a child. The idea of missing Wimbledon was not acceptable.

I think I also wanted to see how quickly I could really recover from the injury I had for the first time, and whether I could really compete in the best of five sets with the best.

As I said a few days ago, I didn't come here to play a few rounds. I really want to aim for the title. To sum up, it's not so much a rational, logical explanation, as an inner feeling and a great desire to play Wimbledon."

A man barely walking. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make him better than he was before. Better…Stronger…Faster. Be afraid, be very afraid!

That's real nice, calling lesser opponents "clowns". I wonder if all the players better than him think he's a clown.
