Ruud won't have time to rest before facing Machac in the Geneva final

Casper Ruud qualified for the final in Geneva after an intense battle with Flavio Cobolli, winning the match in three sets (1/6, 6/1, 7/6) and 1h49. The Norwegian's nerves were strong, as he trailed by a set and then by a break in the final set.

Ruud won't have time to recover from his emotions. This Saturday afternoon, he takes on Tomas Machac, who sprang a surprise by beating world No.1 Novak Djokovic on Friday. Both will be looking to succeed Nicolas Jarry on the event's honours list. The final promises to be a fascinating encounter between two players who have been on top form this week.
