Without forcing his talent, Ruud reaches the final in Geneva

Casper Ruud had Roland-Garros on his mind. Forced to play two matches on the same day to claim the title, he didn't play to 100% of his potential. Faced with a highly motivated Flavio Cobolli, the Norwegian initially let his opponent dictate play, before coming back to win (1-6, 6-1, 7-6 in 1h49).

The world No. 7 didn't go into the match with unbridled intensity, but relied on his heavy strokes to break down an opponent who was still a little too naïve. Taking advantage of the Italian's nervousness, Ruud reached the final in Switzerland.

Already a two-time winner of the event (2021, 2022), he will have the opportunity to make it three against Machac this afternoon. Although he probably won't be putting in too much effort, with Roland-Garros starting tomorrow, he showed in this match that he has enough margin to beat many players, even if he chooses his efforts.

See you then from 3pm onwards to see if the winner of the last tournament in Barcelona can claim a 12th career ATP title.

The person who write this article is completely incorrect, or simply ignorant to write the statement "Jannik Sinner is all about himself". Is the writer for real? Jannik is the most decent, humble and
