Paul overpowers Musetti to win Queen's!

Paul overpowers Musetti to win Queen's!

Without a moment's hesitation, Tommy Paul won the biggest title of his career. Taking full advantage of the poor performances of Alcaraz and Dimitrov, the American held his nerve right to the end.

With the exception of his quarter-final match (against Draper, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4), the world number 13 showed great mastery, winning his games with great solidity.

In the final, it was once again his seriousness that carried him to the title. Perfectly resisting the talent and enthusiasm of a very inconsistent Musetti, Paul was able to raise his arms after almost 1h30 of combat (6-1, 7-6).

Winning the first set with ease, he initially struggled to contain his opponent's comeback. He even had to save a second-set point before finally coming through in a hard-fought tie-break (10-8).

Now back to his career-best ranking of 12th on Monday, Paul could pose a threat we hadn't really seen coming. Stay tuned!

Andy, surely thinking about your future health & family is more important than trying to play at another tournament, whether it's the Olympics or another ATP tournament. I realise that as a sportsman

Wimbledon should have waited a couple of weeks. Billy might not have needed the wildcard after all.
