Reality is there isn't much of anything about any sport that requires any significant degree of intelligence. Sports just aren't that complicated. I do believe there is a type of natural talent like being able to read what's unfolding in the pit or court like being able and being able to react or adjust. That's more of an issue in team sports like football (soccer) and basketball where the mechanics of the sport are simply not intuitive obvious to some as it is to others. Without any doubt there are many athletes who have an intellect well beyond what is required to play the sport they're involved in.

That's disgusting. At 38 this might be her last chance to play here. She deserves to be walking out in the main draw announced as defending champion. These local wildcards are not going to do anything anyway
