This reminds me of the end of the 5th set in the us open final it seems both want to lose

Thiem gave a great post match interview. Very positive towards Diego. The guy is no sore loser. I can definitely appreciate this. Can't stand pouty post match interviews full of excuses and bitterness. Or dodging them all together like some do. Takes a man/woman to lose with grace and dignity.

Diego will fade away in 4th cos mentally he is not strong thats why he lost the 2nd and 3rd set after having so many chances

The stupidity and pathetic behaviour of the organizers...roland garros has fame bcoz of rafa...and the most title winning player is scheduled to play late night in winter

is this the way they treat their most elite and fancied player? bullshit

Lot of admiration for Thiem. But so happy for Diego right now. It wasn't pretty but wow congrats on your biggest win of your career....

Rest up, your biggest match of your career is coming up in a couple days ? ?

I think Diego will give Nadal more competition than Thiem would in his current form. Assuming Nadal wins of course. Great match guys ?

Cmon shrikanthsy

Domi beat rafa in rome 2017

Straight sets hammering

What happened in the french? A bagel was served

2018 diego nearly had rafa

What happened? Hammering time again

Have some faith man

He ll come through

Gera, I will always see Nadal as favorite on clay, but yes, this year is a bit different in the sense that he did not had many clay tournies before Rome and RG, and, not any big matches other than against Little Bigman the past few weeks. I am not sure if Sinner is a big test enough for that.

Novak is now with Nadal big favorites with Thiem out, but Novak has his own demons to fight, and that could happen when he comes under big pressure in the next few matches. How he reacts then, will show if the USO debacle left some scars ... or not.

And then of course, Bigman, Ruby and Stefo also in the run.

Like I said last week: great tennis starts this week, and it did with this great match.

I think rafa is thinking about Sinner right now.

Being he usually stays in the moment.

Super disappointing. Diego had every chance today and let them squander. He's on the thinnest of ice now.

We all want the best matches, so Nadal (or Sinner) v Thiem will be great.

You can bet that if Serena was still in tournament, Justin (tulips) Loch wouldn't be asking for the women's matches to be canx. Such a bad loser.
