Jannik Sinner was in action on Wednesday on Rod Laver Arena, beating Alex De Minaur to reach the last four in Melbourne.
The world No. 1 is now on the rise ahead of his semi-final against Ben Shelton on Friday, where he will be the favorite.
And at 23 years and 159 days, Sinner became the youngest player to reach the Australian Open semi-finals two years running since a certain Rafael Nadal.
In 2009, at the age of 22, the Majorcan reached this stage of the competition for the second year running, after losing his first semi-final to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2008.
He went on to beat Fernando Verdasco and then Roger Federer to win his first Australian Open.
