29 games conceded: Sinner, third in the history of the Paris Masters 1000

Jannik Sinner has won another tournament final this season: a victory (6-4, 7-6) against Auger-Aliassime at the Paris Masters 1000.

But while the Italian's results are impressive, the solidity with which he tames his opponents is just as remarkable.

Indeed, with only 29 games conceded throughout the entire tournament, the Italian has just delivered the most dominant performance in Paris in nearly two decades. Since the tournament has been played on hard court (in 2007), no one had done better.

Round after round, the new world number one dominated his opponents. Neither Bergs (6-4, 6-2), nor Cerundolo (7-5, 6-1), nor Shelton (6-3, 6-3), nor Zverev (6-0, 6-1), nor Auger-Aliassime (6-4, 7-6) managed to win a single set against the San Candido native.

To measure the feat, one must go back to Stefan Edberg in 1990 (26 games) and Nikolay Davydenko in 2006 (27 games) to find a better record. As for Federer (33 in 2011) and Djokovic (33 in 2014), they rank below the Italian in this ranking.
