Kvitova announces her return to competition

After giving birth to a baby boy in July 2024, Petra Kvitova announced on her Instagram account her return to competition at the end of the month.
The Czech, absent from the courts since the end of 2023, will resume at the WTA 250 in Austin (February 24 - March 2). She will also take part in the WTA 1000 events in Indian Wells and Miami in March.
From now on, Kvitova will be one of the active mothers on the circuit, following in the footsteps of Victoria Azarenka, Naomi Osaka, Elina Svitolina and, more recently, Belinda Bencic.
