Tsitsipas wants to show a different face in 2025: "I'm trying to reinvent myself".
Stefanos Tsitsipas will kick off the new season at the United Cup, representing Greece with Maria Sakkari.
The current world No. 11 had a 2024 in which he slipped back in the rankings and, for the first time since 2019, missed out on the ATP Finals.
Without the presence of his father Apostolos in his box, Tsitsipas hopes to return to his best for the new season:
"Over this period, I want to try to repeat what I was able to achieve a few years ago by reaching the Australian Open final.
It was an incredible feeling.
I'm trying to reinvent myself because I feel that for months I've been stuck in a version of myself that I can't get rid of.
I'm looking for a fresh start in 2025.
I've been able to reflect over the last few weeks and realize the things I need to eliminate from my life and strengthen the ones that serve me to reach my big goal.
I'm aware that I'm in a good position to pick up points, and I've got room to move up in the rankings.
I've been on the circuit for several years now, so I know what I have to do to get back to where I was."
