Swiatek on Clay: "I Always Have a Plan B"

Iga Swiatek will face Alexandra Eala this Thursday in Madrid, seeking revenge after her loss to her in Miami last month.

In a press conference, she discussed clay, her favorite surface: "It's nice to train during these first days in Madrid.

I love it, especially on clay, because that's where tennis suits me best. You can be more creative here, tactically, so I really enjoy it.

I know my weapons, I know I always have a Plan B in defense, which is sometimes impossible, for example on fast hard courts. So I take advantage of that, and it really gives me confidence."
