Sinner Admires Djokovic: "It's Beautiful to See Him Still Competing"

Ahead of their semifinal clash at the Six Kings Slam, Jannik Sinner praised Novak Djokovic.
Sinner held his ground in the quarterfinals of the Six Kings Slam exhibition in Riyadh. In the Saudi capital, the defending champion won without faltering against Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-2, 6-3) and will face Novak Djokovic for a spot in the final, just like last year. The Italian world number 2 reflected on his performance against the Greek player before discussing his upcoming opponent.
"It's nice to be back here and see so many people in the stands for this match. The first match of a tournament is never easy, and I'm satisfied with my performance today.
It's a strange indoor court because the ball bounces a lot. It's fast, but the conditions become slower as the games go on," stated Sinner, who then talked about his upcoming match against Djokovic.
"The match against Novak (Djokovic) will obviously be difficult. We've faced each other several times, and we'll both try to play our best tennis. We'll see how things unfold.
We're here to have fun and show good tennis. Sports need rivalries. Several of them have marked tennis in the past. Today, new players are coming, and we're trying to push each other. And it's beautiful to see Djokovic still competing," Sinner told Tennis World Italia.
