Stefanos Tsitsipas had a mixed evening in Riyadh. On the court, he didn't carry much weight against Jannik Sinner, losing decisively 6-2 6-3 in just 76 minutes. But off the court, it's a completely different story. The Greek leaves with $1.5 million, to be exact. That's nearly $20,000 per minute played.
Far from sulking, Tsitsipas chose the path of elegance. On social media, he praised Sinner's "exceptional" performance and warmly thanked the organizers of the Six Kings Slam.
"I gave it my all and had fun. I hit too hard at times because I felt I didn't have enough ball length. That was my biggest problem."
Now, the 27-year-old player has his eyes set on the end of the season: Vienna, Paris, and Athens are on the menu for his upcoming stops.
