Roddick on Monfils: We'll remember him fondly.

During his Served podcast, Andy Roddick talked about Gaël Monfils' career. According to him, Monfils is a player who has marked his generation, loved by all.

He says: "Gaël is 38 years old, people love to watch him play, tennis players love to play with him, to be together in the locker room.

He will be warmly remembered. My respect for him is on another level. I think he always treats people well. I like him. Everybody likes him."

Monfils was forced to retire during his round-of-16 match against Ben Shelton at the Australian Open.
