Video - Sabalenka and Badosa chat in the locker room together

Aryna Sabalenka defeated Paula Badosa at the Australian Open to reach the final.

The two players had to put their friendship aside for the duration of the match, to make way for their rivalry.

At the end of the match, Sabalenka declared ironically in a post-match interview: "We're great friends, and I'm very happy to see her performing at her best.

I hope she still wants to be my friend after this. I'd love us to go shopping together soon, and I promise to pay for anything she wants."

Given the video of the interaction between the two players, there's no doubt that there are no hard feelings.
