Draw for the ATP 250 tournament in Marseille: Gasquet against Bublik, Pouille against Bonzi, Humbert and Mpetshi Perricard also drawn

The Open 13 Provence kicks off this Monday in Marseille. Before being held in October for the 2026 season, tennis fans will have another date with the city in February this year.

Despite the withdrawals of Gaël Monfils and Arthur Fils, several French players will be present.

Defending champion Ugo Humbert is seeded number 2. He will face the winner of the match between Richard Gasquet, in Marseille for the last time in his career, and Alexander Bublik.

As for Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, who was forced to withdraw at the last minute in Rotterdam, he will face a qualifier in his first match and could meet Jan-Lennard Struff in the second round.

Of particular note is the clash between Lucas Pouille and Benjamin Bonzi. The winner of this 100% French clash will face Lorenzo Sonego, quarter-finalist at the last Australian Open, or Botic van de Zandschulp. Quentin Halys will face Zhang Zhizhen.

As for Harold Mayot, he will be playing against a qualifier and will be looking to join Daniil Medvedev, who has been exempted from the first round, for a gala second-round match.

Karen Khachanov, Sebastian Korda and Hubert Hurkacz are also expected in Bouches-du-Rhône.

Stan Wawrinka, soon to be 40, has inherited a tricky first round against Nuno Borges, seeded 8th.

Should he win, he could play in the last 16 against Zizou Bergs, if the Belgian manages to win his first round against a qualifier.
