Carlos Alcaraz, ironic: During pre-season, three or four players got engaged, so I thought it was my turn.

Carlos Alcaraz played Alex de Minaur in an exhibition match on Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday. In a relaxed atmosphere, he lost 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.

In a post-match interview with de Minaur, Andrea Petkovic talked about his love situation. He replied, amused: "Who knows, this year? No engagement yet.

I had a laugh with some friends and family, because during the pre-season, three or four players got engaged. I thought it was my turn, but not yet."
