Alex de Minaur was no match for Jannik Sinner in his Australian Open quarter-final. Beaten in 3 sets, with only 6 games scored, he was logically defeated.

On X, an Internet user was quick to criticize the Australian: "Alex doesn't believe he can compete with Sinner at all, let alone beat him. It's an appalling performance on his part."

De Minaur saw this message and replied: "Hey man, it's a shame you never became a good enough player to play against Jannik.

I'm sure you would have put in a better performance and known exactly how to beat him. I wish you all the best!"

Hmmm responding to it kinda proves the insta user was right ngl.

Don't see the point in replying like that. Actually makes Alex look weak, as people who watch sport for years and years are actually kind of ok to comment on what they see. It would be more credible to counter the point rather than undermine the validity of the person making the point.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
