ATP Finals: Novak Djokovic Withdraws, Musetti Inherits the Final Ticket to Turin

After his titanic battle won in Athens against Lorenzo Musetti, Novak Djokovic announced that he will not travel to Turin to compete in the ATP Finals due to a shoulder injury.

At 38 years old, the Serbian will miss the Masters for the second consecutive year. He will not equal the record of 17 participations set by Roger Federer.

Musetti, the unfortunate loser in Greece, can therefore console himself by securing the final ticket to Turin. He will compete, just like Félix Auger-Aliassime and Ben Shelton, in his very first Masters tournament, at home, on home soil.

The world number 9 will be in the Jimmy Connors group, composed of Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, and Taylor Fritz.
