Sabalenka Reveals How Djokovic Helped Her Win the US Open
Aryna Sabalenka won the US Open this summer, for the second time in her career. Quoted by Radio France Internationale, the Belarusian revealed that Novak Djokovic helped her mentally to win this tournament.
She states: "You can ask him anything and he will advise you. He's such an open guy and I love training with him because for me, it's a very intense workout.
It helps me improve physically and even mentally. And then, when I face other girls, I don't get physically tired because I train with Novak.
At Wimbledon, I spoke with Novak. I just wanted to know how he prepared for these big matches. So we talked for probably an hour (...).
And later, during the US Open final, I remembered what he had told me, and I think that helped me win the title."
