Draper, Returning from Injury, Will Compete in the ATP 250 Adelaide Tournament in 2026

Currently injured, Jack Draper will make his return to the ATP Tour in January ahead of the Australian Open.

Ranked 9th in the world, Draper has had the best season of his career so far. The British left-hander won his first Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells and also reached two finals, in Doha and at the Madrid Masters 1000.

Having withdrawn before his second-round match at the US Open, the 23-year-old player has not competed since, even ending his season due to a left arm injury.
Draper, who will be present at UTS London in December, is expected to return to the ATP Tour as early as January 2026.

In preparation for the Australian Open, he will compete in the ATP 250 Adelaide tournament, as the tournament organizers have already confirmed his participation on their website in recent hours. The tournament will take place in the Australian city from January 12 to 17, 2026, just before the first Grand Slam of the season in Melbourne.

"Adelaide has been a very good tournament for me in the past. In 2024, I reached the final, and even though I couldn't win (against Jiri Lehecka), it was a very good experience. In 2026, I hope to come back and do even better. The level of tennis there is always very high, and I'm really looking forward to returning to Adelaide," the player stated on the tournament's website.
